In an earlier post I talked about a man that has a duck as a pet here in my adopted town. Everyday as I pass the duck's hangout, I look for the duck. Yesterday, I saw him, I am assuming it is a him. He was in the passenger's side of a truck with his head out of the window. As I passed, the truck pulled out of the driveway and went down the street. The duck's head was out the passenger window the whole time! I have got to meet this man, not only does he have a duck for a pet but he has car trained him! How awesome is that!! I laughed about it all the way to my hotel.
Now that I think about it, maybe the duck is a female - otherwise he would want to drive!
Must be that near legal pot they have there in Ohio. Not that I can say much, I had a pet duck as a child, although I never managed to car train it that is indeed a trick.

ReplyDeleteI like that...'I am assuming it is him' how many people in your adopted town have a duck for a pet? I would be interested to know: What kind of a duck is it? How does the duck reach the window? Is it really a duck or just a Canadian goose masquerading as a duck so it does not have to migrate? And if so why is this "duck" owner harboring an illegal animal? I bet this so called duck is wanted, hiding in plain sight.
And because I practically stalk the duck, I know that he can see out the window because his owner has provided him a platform to stand/sit on while in the truck. The door to the truck was open as I drove by one day this week.
