Exclamation points

I think I might be addicted to exclamation points.  Is that a bad thing?  I find that a period just doesn't convey the sense of excitement that I want to convey in the written word.  But can you overuse them?  Is everything worthy of an exclamation point??

I am not a smiley face, emoticon person really.  But I do love exclamation points!!

    I almost always use two exclamations. It is funny because in my writing group, they frown on that. Exclamation points should hardly ever be used. I wonder why they are not excited about their writing, texting, life, etc?

    I completely understand!! As one movie says, "She gets me!!"

    We must be sisters!! I think it is sad that some people have nothing in their life that is exclamation point worthy.
